Purpose

 This note shows some important steps how to migrate from Oracle 7.3.3.6.3 to Oracle9i OSDI in an OS/390 environment. It is not intended to replace the
manual Oracle9i Migration (Part Number A86645-01) or Oracle9i Database Migration Release 1 (9.0.1) Part Number A90191-02,
Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Installation Guide Release 1 (9.0.1) for OS/390 + Oracle9i Enterprise EditionSystem Administration Guide Release 1 (9.0.1) for OS/390
To migrate you can use different methods, you can use for instance Export/Import or Migration utility. This note describes migration with the "Mig" utility.
