Connection Performance Issue With LDAP Using Managed ODP (Doc ID 2062007.1)

Oracle Data Provider for .NET - Version 12.1.0.2 and later
Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit)

Symptoms

When using the Managed ODP.NET driver to make connections to LDAP server, it takes around 2.5 seconds to open the first connection. The subsequent connections works as usual.

But the same operation works fine with Unmanaged ODP.NET driver.

 

Changes

 Unmanaged ODP.NET is replaced by Managed ODP.NET driver.
