Symptoms
The control and redo log files are not created as per the expected Oracle Managed Files hierarchy when using the DBCA in silent mode.
The files are created in the directories specified by DB_CREATE_FILE_DEST, DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST and DB_CREATE_ONLINE_LOG_DEST_1. However, this is not the OMF directory and file formats as documented in the following documentation link:
