Errors During Crawling : EQG-30117 and EQG-30236 and EQP-80397 (Doc ID 2081159.1)

SES version BP5

When attempting to crawl UCM source it crashed and reported some errors in the crawler log and in the console

1.  the following error  is shown on the Synchronization Schedule Status:

EQG-10039: ***Crawler raised the following error for data source "UCM" at time Oct 09, 2015 01:13:41***EQG-30117: Unexpected crawler plug-in error: EQG-30236: Crawler plug-in fatal error: EQP-80397: Unable to clean the scratch directory /tmp/ses_xml_1103257830780619639_scratch : null

2. And the following reported on the Crawler Progress Summary page:

Total Indexing Time: 1 day(s) 14 hour(s) 11 minute(s) 42 seconds
Total Size of Document Data Indexed: 138 gigabytes
Total Size of Document Data Queued for Index: 202 gigabytes
Average Document Size: 978 kilobytes
Average Fetch Throughput: 1 megabytes/second

3. And in the crawler log two events are noticed.
