Symptoms
Oracle Grid Infrastructure 12c Release 1 Installer - Step 14 of 17 shows failed 'Device Checks for ASM' with error message:
PRVG-10521 : Failed to resolve ASM disk label "ORCLDISKOCR0" to device path on node "<nodename1>"
- Cause: Failed to resolve ASM disk label to any device on specified node.
- Action: Ensure that the specified ASM label is correctly stamped on a shared device on the node specified and tat the labeled devices are accessible to current user.
The error presents in the installActions.log (c:\program files\oracle\inventory\logs) as follows:
