(Doc ID 2111627.1)

Last updated on JULY 06, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition - Version and later
IBM AIX on POWER Systems (64-bit)

One of the cluster node is getting evicted and restarting abruptly.

Commonly, the abrupt node eviction is due to heavy paging or memory starvation that leads to some threads of ocssd.bin not getting scheduled.

However, the server shows that a large amount of memory was free at the time of node crash.
