Symptoms

Connections intermittently time out to HBase with the following error.

org.springframework.data.hadoop.hbase.HbaseSystemException: Failed after retry of OutOfOrderScannerNextException: was there a rpc timeout?; nested exception is org.apache.hadoop.hbase.DoNotRetryIOException: Failed after retry of OutOfOrderScannerNextException: was there a rpc timeout?
at org.springframework.data.hadoop.hbase.HbaseUtils.convertHbaseException(HbaseUtils.java:42)
at org.springframework.data.hadoop.hbase.HbaseTemplate.convertHbaseAccessException(HbaseTemplate.java:107)
