Symptoms
Using Net Manager (Net Manager / Net Man / NetManager / NetMan / NetMgr) from the Database (DB) home and selecting an option that requires connecting to a directory server such as Oracle Internet Directory (OID).
After entering the OID login information as prompted:
Username: <USERNAME>
Password: <PASSWORD>
NetMan returns a popup titled "Invalid Entry" showing error:
Authentication failed; Invalid username or password
Clicking on error details shows:
The exception (oracle.net.common.dataStore.DataStoreException) occurred.
