Purpose

The purpose of this FAQ is to provide answers to commonly asked questions regarding database replay and throughput tesing. Many of the answers are based upon real world customer experience.

The first step in using Database Replay is to make sure the required replay side patches are applied. Replaying a workload involves executing all the user calls in a test environment that were recorded during the workload capture.
