Unable to Remove or Uninstall Oracle Services for MTS (Microsoft Transaction Server) Components (Doc ID 2215047.1)

Microsoft Windows (32-bit)
Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit)

Symptoms

After uninstalling Oracle Services for MTS (Microsoft Transaction Server) along with Oracle client, sometimes the service is still seen running in Windows Services console.
The service keeps running even after rebooting the Windows environment. 

In such cases the uninstallation log includes error message as below :

 Oracle client or ODAC is uninstalled using Oracle Universal Installer
