Symptoms

On Standalone setup, after upgrading from 11.2.0.4 to 12.1.0.2, ASM is not able to start, and hitting the following error:

SQL> sqlplus

SQL*Plus: Release 12.1.0.2.0 Production on Thu May 11 23:53:13 2017
