UTL_HTTP Intermittently Fails With ORA-07445 [lxhcsn()] or ORA-07445 [lxcsu22m()] (Doc ID 2299734.1)

Symptoms

1) UTL_HTTP call intermittently fails with one of these errors, ORA-07445 [lxhcsn()] or ORA-07445 [lxcsu22m()].

2) Failing code makes use of the UTL_HTTP persistent connection feature.

3) The failing call stack contains below routines in it.

pihtqg -> nhpReqBegin -> nhpStartRequest -> nhpGetConnection -> nbiSetCSID -> lxhcsn

or:

pihtqg -> nhpReqBegin -> nhpStartRequest -> nhpHTTPWriteLine0 -> nboWriteLine -> lxgcnv 

Changes

Code has been enhanced to use the persistent connection feature of UTL_HTTP package or its a new implementation that uses the persistent connection feature.
