How to Upgrade the Operating System on BDA Clusters Running Oracle Linux 5 to Oracle Linux 6 (Doc ID 2301298.1)

Purpose

Post BDA V4.9 releases will be phasing out support for BDA clusters running Oracle Linux 5 (OL5). Therefore clusters running OL5 will need to be upgraded
to Oracle Linux 6 (OL6).  This document provides details on the upgrade process from OL5 to OL6.

Additional details can be found in the Big Data Appliance Owner's Guide for 4.9 section "10.8 Migrating from Oracle Linux 5 to Oracle Linux 6".

This note is based on BDA V4.9 OL5 to OL6 migration.
