The grid disk's asmmodestatus will show as DROPPED:

However, one or both of the following directories will not be empty indicating activity is still taking place.

$OSSCONF/resilver

$OSSCONF/scrub

$OSSCONF is /opt/oracle/<cellImageVersion>/cellsrv/deploy/config .
