Goal

 The goal of this document is to provide the steps to implement the ASM Filter Driver (ASMFD or AFD) AFTER 12.2 GI installation.  This procedure applies to Oracle Grid Infrastructure for a Cluster and Oracle Restart Installations.  The same procedure may be used for migrating from ASMLib devices (Linux) as well as block and/or raw devices to ASMFD.
