Symptoms

CRS upgrade was successful from 12.1.0.2 to 12.2.0.1

While Migrating ASMLIB to ASMFD (ASM Filter Driver) with reference to Doc ID 2172754.1 getting the below error.

 

# asmcmd afd_label DATADG /dev/sdc1 --migrate
Invalid discovery string : 'ORCL:*'
disk specification '/dev/sdc1' matches no disks
No devices to be labeled.
ASMCMD-9513: ASM disk label set operation failed.           <<<<<<<<<<<<<<
