Purpose
This document describes how to troubleshoot Big Data SQL (BDS) 3.2 installations using the installation logs. The note also discusses the main logs for troubleshooting runtime issues.
The examples here make use of an $ORACLE_SID of "pt1orcl" and a three node Hadoop cluster. When mentioning the Cloudera Manager node, or Ambari node, that implies a CDH or HDP cluster respectively.
