Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When ASM is using 1M AU and file size has reached 16TB with COMPATIBLE.RDBMS equal to 10.1, ORA-17505 ORA-15095 will occur.

But in other environments with different AU size, for example , 4M AU, it will work even exceeding 16TB.
