Symptoms

Data Pump Import (or TTS import) fails with ORA-06502:

 

Changes

NLS_LANG is set to Japanese ( e.g NLS_LANG=Japanese_Japan.AL32UTF8 or Japanese._japan.JA16EUC) in the target environment.
