Symptoms

The exception handling behavior of the function DBMS_UTILITY.FORMAT_ERROR_STACK is different in version 12.2.0.1.The output of the function in 12.2.0.1 does not match with its equivalent in any pre 12.2 release. The function now includes ORA-6512 showing the complete backtrace information from where the actual error/exception was originated.
