Purpose
This document provides guidance on how to install Kudu on BDA 4.9/CDH/5.11.1/Kudu 1.3, BDA V4.10/CDH 5.12.1/Kudu 1.4, BDA V4.11/CDH 5.13.1/Kudu 1.5 and higher releases. Note however that this document provides guidance, for specifics refer to the official documentation. A good starting point is the Cloudera Apache Kudu Guide.

Anyone installing Kudu on BDA V4.9 and higher.
