Symptoms

The usage of ORAPKI utility is no longer the recommended way to create the auto login keystor in 12c. One should use the ADMINISTER KEY MANAGEMENT utility to perform this operation.

 Creating the wallet from within the database you will be able to set any password without having to respect the password policy restriction imposed by ORAPKI utility:

 When you want to create an autologin wallet using ORAPKI you will have an error if the password is not compliant with the password policy imposed by ORAPKI.
