Symptoms
Symptoms
- Unable to Re-deploy an ODA with some form of errors stating disks can not be added to diskgroup or some disks are already in an existing ASM diskgroup
- Unable to add disks after an initial attempt fails (usually on X6-2 or X7-2 but any hardware type can encounter this problem)
Error Messages and Text
- Error messages state "Unable to create diskgroup " [data | reco ] " already exists
Changes
Usually requires at least one previous deployment attempt (successful or not) using 12.2. or higher on the ODA.
- Attempting to re-deploy an ODA after a previous installation on 12.2. or higher.
