RMAN Incremental Backup Level 0 Fails on NFS Mount Point with ORA-19510 ORA-17500 ORA-17500: ODM err:No space left on device (Doc ID 2454112.1)

Symptoms

On Exadata database full RMAN backup fails with these errors. (Backing up just the archivelogs completes successfully):

RMAN-03009: failure of backup command on ORA_DISK_10 channel at 09/11/2018 02:24:10
ORA-19510: failed to set size of 268435456 blocks for file "/<path>/<db_name>_20180910_3btcov9r_1_1" (block size=16384)
ORA-17505: ksfdrsz:1 Failed to resize file to size 268435456 blocks
ORA-17500: ODM err:No space left on device

Backup is going on NFS mount point and there is sufficient space available.
