19c (New Feature) : Automatic flashback on standby (CDB) when flashback on primary (CDB) done and DB open with reset-logs (Doc ID 2465585.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

 -- After we perform a PITR or Flashback on a primary, we can either restore the  database or flashback the database on the standby to let the standby follow the primary.
 -- Starting from 19c flashback on standby can be automated

Scope

 

-- The COMPATIBLE initialization parameter must be set to 19.0.0 or higher .
 -- Parameter "_standby_auto_flashback" is TRUE and flashback logs in place.
