Goal

On any suitably large or active database , it can be the case where an MEB backup could impact the performance of the users.

There are many reasons for this, eg an application uses an especially "hot" table , or the DB is used 24.7 with no designated "quiet time" to take a backup.

 

Limiting the impact of an MEB backup may be desirable.
