The following scenarios could sometimes arise in a replication environment:

1. Replication sites go out of synch with each other and manual intervention
is required to synch them up again.
2. There is a need to import data into some tables involved in replication.

This article provides the steps to deal with the above situations.

The steps given in this article are to be undertaken only by database
administrators who have a good understanding of Advanced Replication
concepts and practices.

It is highly advised to test these steps on a test replication environment
first, before performing them on a production environment.
