Symptoms
DomU upgrade from Exadata 12.1 to 18.1.13 through 18.1.19, or 12.1 to 19.1.0 through 19.2.5 fails to startup Oracle Clusterware during the completion step.
Symptoms may include the following:
- The output of the "imageinfo" command in domU indicates that the domU is running the higher version, however, the "Image activated" and "Image status" entries are blank.
- patchmgr reports the following errors:
