Audit Log Is Not Able To Capture Client IP/Hostname When Using mysqlrouter (Doc ID 2673649.1)

Symptoms

When connections are routed via mysqlrouter, MySQL Server records the hostname/IP of the mysqlrouter host but not the actual clients.
The same information is recorded by the audit plugin which shows mysqlrouter hostname/IP and machine name in audit log.
