64-bit OraOLEDB Need to be Registered Again After Deinstalling Oracle Client 32-bit And Vice Versa (Doc ID 2715228.1)

Symptoms

When installing both 32-bit and 64-bit of Oracle Client, and then deinstalling 32-bit by 'deinstall.bat', OraOLEDB needs to be registered again and vice versa.

This problem can reproduce the following steps:

• Install both Oracle Client 32-bit and Oracle Client 64-bit
• Deinstall Oracle Client 32-bit
• Run 64-bit OraOLEDB application

OR

• Install both Oracle Client 32-bit and Oracle Client 64-bit
• Deinstall Oracle Client 64-bit
• Run 32-bit OraOLEDB application

Changes

Deinstall either Oracle Client 32-bit or Oracle Client 64-bit.
