Symptoms
DBMS_APPLY_ADM.SET_SCHEMA_INSTANTIATION_SCN is used to instantiate
schema objects.
The procedure executes without any errors
At the destination site, the apply process throws the error, ORA-26687: no instantiation
SCN provided for tablename.
SET_SCHEMA_INSTANTIATION_SCN not working as expected. Same is the case with
SET_GLOBAL_INSTANTIATION_SCN
Querying DBA_APPLY_INSTANTIATED_OBJECTS will not return any objects in the
schema instantiated
But using DBMS_APPLY_ADM.SET_TABLE_INSTANTIATION_SCN procedure instantiates
individual tables properly.
Those tables will be listed in DBA_APPLY_INSTANTIATED_OBJECTS.
