Symptoms
Cluvfy report following error while validating prerequisites for upgrading Grid Infrastructure from 11.2.0.4 to 12.2 and higher versions, even though the mentioned patch is already available in Source Grid Infrastructure home.
For example:
$ runcluvfy.sh stage -pre crsinst -upgrade -rolling -src_crshome <11.2.0.4 GRID_HOME> -dest_crshome <12.2.0.1 GRID_HOME> -dest_version 12.2.0.1.0
Failure messages:
