Goal

Fragmentation is not likely to be a problem on InnoDB. However, DBAs may want to observe if the table is actually fragmented or not. InnoDB doesn't have a direct way to estimate fragmented space amount.

This document describes how to estimate amount of fragmented space using the information schema.
