Datanode is down unable to bring up in NDB cluster

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. High disk io activity
2. LCP watchdog attempts a shutdown and leaves defunct process
3. Attempt to restart, but fails due to memory allocation issues

Due to this issue, users cannot restart the data node.
