Goal

To provide a script generator to generate the required scripts to reset the Highwater Mark (HWM) of all the non-SYS and SYSTEM queue tables in a database.

In pre-9i databases this provides an alternative to the workaround discussed in <Note 271855.1> to reduce the CPU and resource usage of the queue monitor processes.

Database Administrators can use this script when they need to reduce the space consumption of relating to AQ objects within a database, improve the enqueue/dequeue performance, and reduce the resource consumption of the Qmon process.
