dbnodeupdate: Unable to obtain active lvm name (Doc ID 2893228.1)

Symptoms

After patching Exadata Compute Node from 21.2.10.0.0.220317 to 21.2.13.0.0.220602 the Exadata is not functioning properly.

Many internal commands are failing with error:
/opt/oracle.cellos/image_functions: line 2040: 0socket: value too great for base (error token is "0socket")
/opt/oracle.cellos/image_functions: line 223: get_node_type: command not found
/opt/oracle.cellos/image_functions: line 2906: image_functions_is_service_enabled: command not found
/opt/oracle.cellos/image_functions: line 2911: image_functions_status_service: command not found

[root@Node1 ~]# imageinfo -all
/opt/oracle.cellos/image_functions: line 2040: 0socket: value too great for base (error token is "0socket")

Changes

Customer re-initiated the patching  # /u01/inst/2022Q3/dbnodeupdate/dbnodeupdate.sh -u -l <patchnumber>.zip -t 21.2.13.0.0.220602 -q

This time it failed with below error
