Symptoms

 Authentication appears to work sometimes, but mostly fails when authenticating via Kerberos.

Changes

 This is only applicable to authentication being done over multiple servers that are load balanced in some way.
It is uncertain whether this is DNS related or load balancer related, but either could be a potential cause.
