Goal
Despite having entries for all tables in dba_tab_monitoring
and all indexes in dba_ind_monitoring
, why does the dba_object_usage
view only show a few indexes being monitored for usage?
Given that the alter index <index_name> monitoring;
command has been used to turn on monitoring, shouldn't all indexes that are being monitored show up in dba_object_usage
?
How can I ensure that usage tracking is activated for all monitored indexes? And, if a table or index must have monitoring enabled to be populated in dba_tab_statistics
and dba_ind_statistics
views when its statistics become stale, why aren't all of these monitored objects reflected in dba_object_usage
?
