Goal
For the purposes of this document, the following fictitious environment is used as an example to describe the procedure:
Primary database: PROD
From 21c onward, the Prepare database for data guard configure prerequisites required for PRODUCTION to setup data guard which includes
1. Configuring Flash recovery Area(FRA)
2. Enable archivelog and Flashback
3. Setup Dg broker
4. RMAN configuration to AUTO delete archived logs after applied on standby
5. ForceLOGGING
6. standby_file_management
7. Configuring Standby Redo Logs(SRLs)
2. Enable archivelog and Flashback
3. Setup Dg broker
4. RMAN configuration to AUTO delete archived logs after applied on standby
5. ForceLOGGING
6. standby_file_management
7. Configuring Standby Redo Logs(SRLs)
all the recommendations required for Data Guard setup.
