Last updated on JULY 20, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition - Version 19.3.0.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

NOTE: In the images, examples and document that follow, user details, cluster names, hostnames, directory paths, filenames, etc. represent a fictitious sample (and are used to provide an illustrative example only). Any similarity to actual persons, or entities, living or dead, is purely coincidental and not intended in any manner.

Nodes were removed via FPP using "rhpctl deletenode gihome -client entdbrac -node <nodename>  -sudouser oracle -sudopath /usr/bin/sudo". Now when we start the CRS on the remaining nodes in the cluster, we receive messages indicating that the ACFS filesystems can not be mounted on the nodes that were removed.

Changes

Nodes were deleted using rhpctl deletenode
