Goal

MySQL Server supports a keyring that enables internal server components and plugins to securely store sensitive information for later retrieval. The data-at-rest encryption feature, also known as transparent data encryption (TDE) relies on a keyring component or plugin for master encryption key management.

The purpose of this document is to demonstrate, with an example, how to set up and install the keyring component using global manifest file.
