Symptoms
After restoring data using ndb_restore command on MySQL NDB Cluster, triggers on SQL Nodes may be lost. The procedure of restoration is like below:
- Assume you have a valid native backup
- Assume some NDB tables have triggers
- Stop SQL nodes
- Stop data nodes
- Restart data nodes using --initial option (this option will wipe data on data nodes)
- Enter the single user mode (optional)
- Restore a backup using ndb_restore command
- Exit the single user mode (optional)
- Start SQL nodes
- You'll find some triggers on NDB tables are lost
