Symptoms
While running the "cluvfy stage -pre nodeadd" command against new nodes, it's failing stating that it's missing a specific package which is not applicable for the new nodes OS kernel version.
For example, existing nodes are using Oracle Linux 7 (OL7) and the new nodes are using Oracle Linux 9 (OL9) (this is one method to migrate to new hardware/nodes and later OS kernel versions). The cluvfy operation fails with below type error:
