GI_HOME Patching Failing due to JDK/Java Missing in '<GI_Home>/jdk/bin/java: No such file or directory' (Doc ID 3063374.1)

Symptoms

While patching the patching logs report java program is not found.

For example:

     /u01/app/19.3.0/grid/bin/cluutil: line 149: /u01/app/19.3.0/grid/jdk/bin/java: No such file or directory

Also, manually attempting to check the Patch status using below reports the same.

i.e.:

[grid~]$ /u01/app/19.3.0/grid/bin/cluutil -ckpt -oraclebase /u01/app/grid -chkckpt -name ROOTCRS_PREPATCH -status

/u01/app/19.3.0/grid/bin/cluutil: line 149: /u01/app/19.3.0/grid/jdk/bin/java: No such file or directory
