Goal
The output from <Note 273674.1> Streams Configuration Report and Health Check Script
may suggest the following for some environments:
SUGGESTION: One or more Apply processes have parallelism 1
If your workload consists of many independent transactions
and you notice that apply is the bottleneck of your system,
you might consider increasing the parallelism of the apply process
to three times the number of CPUs on your system via dbms_apply_adm.set_parameter
Be sure to set supplemental logging and the '_TXN_BUFFER_SIZE' apply parameter
appropriately.
This article provides an example of setting the _TXN_BUFFER_SIZE parameter for
the apply process in a Streams environment.
