Symptoms

DataPump export using the following statement:

#> expdp system/<PASSWORD> directory=data_pump_dir dumpfile=file.dmp logfile=file.log full=y


fails with the following error:

ld.so.1: oracle: fatal: relocation error: file
<PATH>/10g2/lib/libjox10.so: symbol kgestkguard_: referenced
symbol not found
UDE-00008: operation generated ORACLE error 12547
ORA-12547: TNS:lost contact

Changes

Verify:

1.  Are there multiple Oracle homes on this server?
2.  Was this instance upgraded or a fresh install?
3.  Have you had any successful DataPump exports?
4. Are you able to export just one schema via DataPump?
