Export Fails With EXP-00008/ORA-03113 and ORA-00600[545] Reported in Alert Log (Doc ID 342425.1)

Symptoms

All of the following symptoms will be observed :-

a) Database EXPORT is being performed
b) EXPORT will fail with :-

EXP-00008: ORACLE error 3113 encountered
ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel
EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully

c) ORA-00600[545] will be reported in alert log
d) Other ORACLE_HOME(s) will exist on machine that are not at the same patch level
e) One or more environment variables will point to an incorrect home

The SQL reported in the trace file will be similar to :-

SELECT SYNNAM, DBMS_JAVA.LONGNAME(SYNNAM2) SYNNAM2,            
DBMS_JAVA.LONGNAME(SYNTAB) SYNTAB,            
TABOWN, TABNODE, PUBLIC$, SYNOWN, SYNOWNID, TABOWNID,
SYNOBJNO      FROM   SYS.EXU9PTS      ORDER  BY SYNTIME

The stack will be similar to:-
