Last updated on JUNE 13, 2013

Applies to:

Oracle Server - Enterprise Edition - Version: 10.1.0.4 to 10.2.0.3 - Release: 10.1 to 10.2
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The system clock had been (accidentally) set a year ahead after a power outage.
Automatic jobs for DBMS_STATS ran, generating statistics.
After setting the clock back to the correct year, DBMS_STATS does not run correctly.
A manual execution of DBMS_STATS fails.

SQL> execute dbms_scheduler.run_job('GATHER_STATUS_JOB');
begin dbms_scheduler.run_job('GATHER_STATS_JOB'); END;
