Symptoms

Using ANSI join syntax on a remote table

Select of a remote table using a join causes :

ORA-22992: cannot use LOB locators selected from remote tables



There is a lob column in the table but this is not referenced. i.e the error is
unexpected.


select t1.col1, t2.col1 from
tab1@tarb.us.oracle.com t1 JOIN
tab2@tarb.us.oracle.com t2 ON t1.col1 = t2.col1;

tables have the form :
create table tab1 (col1 number, col2 clob);
create table tab2 (col1 number, col2 clob);
