Symptoms
Depending on the number of rows which are copied - failure occurs :
SQL copy of 3043912 rows from Oracle to DB2 (Version 7).
The following error occurs:
ERROR:
ORA-02055: distributed update operation failed; rollback required
ORA-02068: following severe error from DB2LINK
ORA-28511: lost RPC connection to heterogeneous remote agent using
SID=(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTO =TCP)(Host=myhostname)(Port=9999))(CONN
CT_DATA=(SID=TGXI)))
